The Al-Bireh demonstration project on agricultural reuse of wastewater in the West Bank
High crop yields and relatively uncontaminated eggplants were some of the results when treated wastewater was used to irrigate tree and vegetable crops. The Al-Bireh demonstration project in Palestine was also important for bringing together institutions that will continue to drivewater reuse in agriculture in future.
