Water reuse by a natural filtration system in a Vietnamese rural community
01.04.2001
Although the annual internal renewable water resources in Vietnam are sufficiently high (5600m3/capita/year), most of them are untapped. In the northern Vietnamese provinces 80 percent of its rainfall falls in the rainy season resulting in little tapped domestic water during the dry season. This article discusses the potential of water reuse as a source of reliable water supply in a rural Vietnamese commune that is suffering from an increase in pollution.
