Hygiene practice among H'mong communities of Vietnam
01.10.2001
In July 2000 UNICEF, Vietnam undertook a study of H'mong mothers with children of less than two years old to investigate the behaviours most likely to transmit diarrhoeal microbes. The findings presented here provide an initial impression of the main high-risk hygiene behaviours and offer an excellent example of the enormous gap there is to bridge between traditional sanitary concepts and modern ones.
