Cultural issues in enterprise development – a case study of rural Ghana

This article explores the cultural issues affecting the rural entrepreneur in Ghana. It is based upon the results of an enterprise development needs assessment tour conducted by the authors in Ghana for the Food and Agriculture Organisation, the objective of which was to assess thecultural factors which must be accounted for in the implementation of subsequent projects in the region.
