Development opportunities for women in small business in Jamaica
Jamaican women are less likely to find employment in the formal sector than men, so many resort to self-employment in a limited range of occupations. This article describes a survey revealing that in spite of a relatively high educational level, few women had received training, formalor informal in their areas of business enterprise.
